nprfreshair: Going to start a series called: Awesome vintage pictures from public radio stations. This is MPR host Michael Barone, in the late 1970s. (via MPR’s Michael Barone talks pipe organs and Pipe Dreams | Minnesota Public Radio News) I know, this doesn’t have much to do with quilting or design, but it is an awesome picture none the less. Look at that man’s beard. Think about the fact that he knew it looked silly, and wore it anyway.
